Odoo online for teachers
This series of tutorials is aimed at teachers wishing to integrate Odoo into their teaching practices, particularly in management, business or accounting training.
The objective is simple: to enable you to quickly get to grips with an Odoo Education environment, while building concrete learning situations for your students.
You will find structured content around several essential themes:
1. Get to grips with your Odoo database
Create a database, manage your account, duplicate a working environment or organise your teaching databases: these initial steps are essential to secure your use in the classroom and increase efficiency.
2. Build realistic professional situations
The tutorials guide you in creating coherent and usable data: clients, suppliers, items, quotes, invoices… The aim is to reproduce management flows close to reality, at the heart of the expectations of the BTS and professional practices.
3. Exploit Odoo modules in a business logic
One need = one module.
Each module (Sales, Purchases, Accounting, Inventory…) is approached from the perspective of its pedagogical utility, with concrete examples of use in the classroom to give meaning to the learning.
4. Adopt an appropriate teaching stance
Beyond the tool, these resources offer a reflection on the posture to adopt :
how to move from a demonstration logic to an exploration logic ?
how to make the student an actor in an information system ?
how to manage complexity without losing educational objectives ?
5. Benefit from concrete feedback
Advice from field practices, successes but also the limits encountered, to help you anticipate, adjust and secure your own implementations.
This approach aims to make Odoo not just a simple technical tool, but a true professionalising learning support, serving the autonomy of students and the understanding of management processes.
