Context of the tool


As part of theCLIENT AND SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, you will be required to analyse the potential insolvency risk that a new client may represent.

The application provided allows you to practice with randomly generated exercises. You must verify that the information provided is correct and make a comment on the situation. The application offers you an example of a solution regarding the ratios and the associated analysis.

This application is provided in Excel with VBA coding to randomise the generation of data. The file is saved in XLSM format. It will be necessary to add the directory where you saved your file to the list of trusted locations. You can watch the video below to see how to do this…

At the start of the game, you can click on the “START THE GAME” button (Marker A).

A new set of data (balance sheet and ratios) will be calculated. You need to find the calculations to obtain (and check) the results. You must make a comment.

You can print the paper version of this game (Marker B).

To see the solution, simply click on the link “View the solution” (Marker C). The solution is divided into 3 parts:

  1. The details of the calculations of the various ratios

2. The comparison of the company's ratios with those of the profession

3. The comment on the situation.
